I qualified in Medicine (MBBS) in 1992 and completed my Masters in ophthalmology (MS) in 1995. Following this, I underwent higher surgical training in London and through the All-Wales training programme. I have been on the specialist register of the General Medical Council since 2004. I joined the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust as a consultant ophthalmologist in 2004 and took on various lead roles, including clinical lead for cataract services at Cannock Eye Centre.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and serve as an examiner and microsurgical skills trainer, teaching surgeons both fundamental skills and how to manage complications during cataract surgery. With over 25 years of experience, I have established my own bespoke practice, delivering a high-quality, personalised cataract and refractive lens surgery service. When not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, hiking, and cycling.
